Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Tyrone copper mining complex in Grant County, NM. You will plan, schedule, and analyze maintenance workloads in collaboration with site supervision to ensure reliable operations.

In this role, you will manage information systems, maintain SAP schedules, and provide guidance to junior planners while supporting long-term planning and shutdown projects. A strong foundation in planning, scheduling, and field maintenance is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Six (6) years of field maintenance experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations, or six (6) years of planning experience.
• Six (6) years related field maintenance experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations including four (4) years of specific Planning experience.
• Associates degree in a technical field with four (4) years related experience in field maintenance in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and two (2) years related experience in field maintenance in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Understanding of concepts and workflow of Maintenance Planning/Scheduling.
• Understanding of mining and/or processing equipment function.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance management systems and associated applications.
• Demonstrated professional/effective written and oral communications skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead workload activities of the assigned department by planning, scheduling, measuring, and analyzing Maintenance activities in collaboration with site supervisors.
• Manage and maintain the integrity of the information management systems to achieve the assigned planning and scheduling objectives.
• Under ERS guidance interact with the Supervisor to establish and monitor planned schedules; conduct planning meetings; review and schedule work orders.
• Responsible for Runtime Forecasting process execution and outcomes in assigned area.
• Provide guidance and mentor Planner I personnel in Freeport-McMoRan practices and scheduling techniques.
• Support the area Supervisor in job preparation, execution and follow up per company standards, including field readiness of materials and equipment.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust schedules for assigned activities and maintain in SAP.
• Collaborate with planners and supervisors on long-range planning, major shutdowns, and resource/ budget forecasting.
• Maintain integrity of information in SAP to support objectives.
• Execute and maintain history for all assigned activities in SAP.
• Engage with onsite Global Supply Chain to control warehouse levels and storage conditions.
• Assist with procurement by preparing scopes of work and interfacing with Global Supply Chain and vendors.
• Assist with maintenance management decisions, including budgets and weekly forecasting.
• Generate regular and ad hoc site management reports to measure KPIs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
