Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in New Mexico seeks a qualified planner to support maintenance planning across field operations at Chino. You will work with supervisors and the Global Supply Chain to ensure readiness of materials and equipment resources.

Preferred candidates have the education path described and a solid understanding of maintenance systems, mining processes and strong written and oral communication. The role may involve 24/7 readiness and offers growth opportunities within a major mining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 4 years field maintenance/industrial experience
• 4 years related field maintenance experience including 2 years planning
• Associates in technical field with 2 years maintenance/planning experience
• Bachelor's degree in technical field with 1 year maintenance/planning experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the area Supervisor in job preparation, execution and follow up.
• Plan, schedule work orders and monitor runtimes in SAP.
• Develop and adjust schedules; maintain SAP records.
• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain on materials and vendor interfaces.
• Generate regular and ad hoc site reports and support budgets.
