Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a seasoned supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit at the Tyrone complex in Grant County, NM. You will lead first-line supervisors, coordinate with maintenance, processing, and engineering teams, and drive adherence to production plans.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and ongoing coordination across multiple departments to meet production objectives.

Qualifications

• Supervisory methods and techniques knowledge.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day questions/problems on equipment, materials, methods and procedures.
• Budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate supervisors.
• Ensure production shifts run as per production plan and schedules.
• Provide operations input for production and maintenance planning.
• Ensure adherence to safety and operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate daily with maintenance, processing, engineering, safety, environmental and sales.
• Directly supervise first-line or shift supervisors.
• Perform other duties as required.
