Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Rockford, IL, is seeking an Applications / Product Engineer with MIM or powder metals experience. The role focuses on designing parts, interfacing with customers, and advancing new products from concept to production.

You will lead design for manufacturability, develop quotes, drive APQP milestones, and coordinate with the sales and launch teams to ensure smooth production approvals.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal injection molding (MIM) or powder metals.
• Strong design skills and customer interface experience.
• Ability to develop marked prints and manufacturability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering quotations for new products including material needs, steps, costs.
• Recommend design changes for manufacturability in MIM technology.
• Lead manufacturing and delivery of engineering and prototype samples.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
• Guide APQP activities through Gate 1 and participate through Gate 5.
