Your Talent Team in Rockford, IL seeks an Applications / Product Engineer with MIM or powder metals experience to design manufacturable components and interface with customers.

You will lead the development of new products, support the Sales Team with quotes, and drive APQP processes from Gate 1 through Gate 5 to ensure smooth production introductions.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal injection molding (MIM) or powder metals.
• Ability to design parts for manufacturability and interface with customers.

Responsabilités

• Develops engineering quotations for new products including materials, steps and costs.
• Recommends design changes for manufacturability in MIM, updating CAD as needed.
• Leads manufacturing and delivery of engineering and prototype samples.
• Leads technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
• Leads APQP through Gate 1 and contributes through Gate 5.
