Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks an Applications / Product Engineer to advance a growing metal injection molding business in Rockford, Illinois. You will design components, interface with customers, and translate requirements into manufacturable solutions.

You will promote new products, support Sales, and drive successful production introductions by coordinating with Engineering and APQP teams. MIM or powder metals experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIM (metal injection molding) or powder metals.
• Strong design skills and ability to interface with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering quotations for new products including material, process, tooling, and capital cost.
• Recommend manufacturability improvements for MIM components and modify CAD models.
• Lead manufacturing and delivery of engineering samples and prototypes.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate with internal teams.
• Guide APQP processes from Gate 1 through Gate 5.
