Job summary

Caliola Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support MILSATCOM and Protected MILSATCOM capabilities across CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will oversee system engineering, interoperability, and evolution of mission-critical terminals, baseband systems, and cryptographic equipment, delivering technical solutions that directly enable mission success.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Expert MILSATCOM and Protected MILSATCOM knowledge incl AEHF and cryptographic systems.
• Extensive understanding of joint-service and allied MILSATCOM operations.
• Experience providing senior-level guidance and systems engineering support in military/space ops.
• Ability to collaborate with government leaders, manage priorities, and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Own MILSATCOM and Protected MILSATCOM systems engineering, sustainment, integration, and interoperability activities.
• Manage priorities across technical support, testing, analysis, field support, and customer requirements.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource to the Government Chief Engineer and stakeholders.
• Provide expert MILSATCOM guidance, troubleshooting, and technical analysis for complex issues.
• Plan and support systems integration, verification, and testing of modified capabilities.
• Develop and maintain test assets and cryptographic architectures aligned with requirements.
• Provide hands-on engineering support at CONUS/OCONUS locations as required.
• Evaluate new capabilities and system changes to ensure interoperability and performance.
