Job summary

Caliola Engineering is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the reliability, interoperability, and evolution of mission-critical MILSATCOM and Protected MILSATCOM capabilities. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across integrated system architectures, and seeing their work directly support mission success.

You will support the operations, sustainment, and integration of current and future MILSATCOM, Protected MILSATCOM,

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Expert‑level MILSATCOM knowledge including AEHF and cryptographic systems.
• Experience providing senior‑level technical guidance in military or space ops.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own MILSATCOM and Protected MILSATCOM systems engineering and interoperability tasks.
• Evaluate modifications, maintenance activities, and technology insertions for feasibility and interoperability.
• Develop test assets, conduct site surveys, and support system integration activities.
• Provide hands‑on engineering support to operators and maintainers at CONUS/OCONUS locations.
