Job summary

KBR in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Program Systems Integration Engineer to join the Systems Integration team focused on MILSATCOM for the U.S. Space Force.

The role requires on-site work in a secure facility and leadership of integration activities across spaces, ground, crypto, and terminals. The position demands a Secret clearance (Top Secret potential), a strong engineering background, and extensive experience in systems engineering, requirements management, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering work experience.
• 5+ years in Systems Engineering including requirements management, baseline development, test planning, integration, verification and validation.
• Experience developing or managing requirements documents or ICDs for complex systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• On-site in a secure facility due to customer security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integration strategies to integrate satellite comms systems and components; manage baselines among stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements to define and verify technical baselines.
• Apply digital engineering methods (digital twins) to support integration and test activities.
• Collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to close gaps in requirements across the program; support reviews and meetings.
• Lead Government/Contractor Working Group meetings; develop briefings, lead discussions, and write minutes.
• Review proposed changes to baselines for impacts to enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder concerns.
• Define and deliver alternative solutions to address integration challenges; manage schedule impact.
• Facilitate contractor document reviews and provide actionable comments.
• Prepare briefings for Space Force program office personnel and stakeholders; outline actions.
