Job summary

_n_Logic seeks a senior ESS Ground Systems Integration Engineer to join our El Segundo, CA team on-site at a secure facility. You will lead ground systems integration across satellite communication segments and drive risk resolution in collaboration with government and contractor teams.

The role requires 15+ years in aerospace/defense systems engineering, active Secret clearance with TS eligibility, and strong MBSE and architecture-review skills to deliver complex space-ground solutions.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance at minimum; ability to obtain TS clearance.
• 15+ years experience in systems engineering, integration, or architecture development for complex aerospace, defense, or space systems.
• Experience with MILSATCOM such as AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminals.
• Experience working with military and DoD civilians.
• Demonstrated experience integrating Space and Ground segments within national security space or related programs.
• On-site work in a secure facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground systems engineering and integration activities to define ESS architectures and manage the technical baseline.
• Perform analysis of requirements and verify the baseline across stakeholders.
• Apply Digital Engineering methods (MBSE, Digital Twins) to develop ground architectures and verify system behavior.
• Collaborate with Government/Contractor teams to analyze gaps, document requirements, and support reviews.
• Lead and support Working Group meetings, develop briefings, and write minutes.
• Review changes for impacts to enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder concerns.
• Conduct trade studies and assessments of solutions.
• Facilitate program document reviews and provide technical comments.
• Prepare briefings for Space Force personnel and advise on actions.
• Support risk management and action plans with the Government.
