Job summary

The Tech7 Company seeks a Senior ESS Ground Systems Integration Engineer to join our El Segundo, CA team on-site. You will lead end-to-end ground architecture definition, integration across Ground/Space/Crypto/Terminals, and drive technical baselines with multiple stakeholders.

You will apply MBSE and digital engineering methods to evaluate performance, support architecture reviews, and deliver briefings to US Space Force and government personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (systems, aerospace, electrical, computer, physics, math) or related field.
• 15+ years experience in systems engineering, integration, or architecture for complex aerospace/space programs.
• Experience with MILSATCOM programs (AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, FAB-T).
• Experience collaborating with military and DoD civilians.
• Proven ability to integrate Space and Ground segments in national security space programs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products; on-site work required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground systems engineering and integration to define architectures and baselines across multiple programs.
• Analyze system requirements and verify technical baselines.
• Apply MBSE, Digital Twins, and digital threads to ground architectures and performance verification.
• Collaborate with Government/Contractor teams to resolve requirements gaps and interface issues.
• Lead Working Group meetings, develop briefings, and document actions/minutes.
• Review proposed changes for impact on enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder concerns.
• Conduct trade studies and analyses of alternative solutions with cost/schedule/performance impact.
• Facilitate technical reviews of requirements, ICDs, and verification artifacts.
