Job summary

Boeing Space & Mission Systems MILSATCOM Program in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to develop next‑gen satellite ground systems. This contract role, through a Boeing approved partner, involves requirements analysis, interface design, ground system architecture, software integration and testing, and system verification to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or computer science.
• Experience in verification and test of ground software C2 systems.
• 14+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems.
• Evaluates customer needs to define system performance requirements and interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize system architecture and software integration.
• Performs analyses for safety, reliability, maintainability, and system security considerations.
• Supports requirements management processes, risk, issues and technology readiness assessment.
