Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in El Segundo, CA is seeking an ESS SATCOM Systems Integration, systems engineering SME to lead customer interfaces and drive end-to-end integration across terminal, ground, and space segments.

You will coordinate cross-program baselines, perform system analyses, and collaborate with SEIT and external organizations to deliver integrated solutions while shaping a secure, field-ready space architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 8 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Strategic SATCOM mission knowledge and experience.
• Experience with Systems Integration and engineering lifecycle on Space programs.
• Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Active and current Secret clearance required. U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a customer interface and interpret feedback into LM roles and responsibilities.
• Perform cross-program coordination during development of intersegment requirement/verification baselines.
• Perform system analysis and interface definition across terminal, ground, and space segments.
• Collaborate with segment and subsystem design engineering teams to drive integration.
• Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle.
• Guide systems integration efforts through the program lifecycle.
• Foster customer relationships and interpret warfighter needs into LM solutions.
