Qualifications

• 4-7 years in middle market, commercial, or corporate lending.
• 4-7 years of management experience leading a production team and handling employee/customer relations.
• Experience developing and implementing a market strategy to achieve results/goals.
• Excellent relationship management and business development abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, sales skills, and credit acumen.
• Experience directing and leading activities of a team with responsibility for strategic planning, budget and performance management.
• Ability to interact effectively with executive levels (CFO/CEO).
• Experience managing and developing others and retaining top talent.
• Proven track record of developing new clients and business.

Responsibilities

• Lead middle market banking activity and production in an assigned market.
• Oversee a portfolio of approx. $500-800MM and a team of Middle Market Relationship Managers.
• Develop and execute market strategy aligned with Bank's goals.
• Own P&L for the market and set production goals and strategies.
• Maintain prudent risk and portfolio management; credit approvals within delegation.
• Develop and nurture community relationships to increase business opportunities.
• Cross-sell with Bank partners to maximize revenue growth and relationship depth.
• Mentor and develop associates; coach/train others as SME.
