About the Role:Responsible for managing and leading middle market banking activity and production in an assigned market, overseeing a portfolio of approx. $500-800MM and serving clients with $15+MM of annual revenue. Manages a team of Middle Market Relationship Managers to meet strategic objectives, production goals, and client needs. Develops and executes upon market strategy aligned with Bank's strategic goals and is the face of the bank for the market. May personally produce and build partnerships (internal and external) to attract business relationships while supporting a production team.Manages a team of Relationship Managers to meet strategic objectives, production goals, and client needs.Responsible for the P&L of an assigned market and management of an assigned portfolio, establishing production goals and strategies to succeed.Maintains and grows a quality Middle Market Banking portfolio by leading prudent risk and portfolio management.Responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the community to increase business development opportunities for all Middle Market Relationship Managers. Actively participates in community/market events through organizations and board memberships to function as the "face" of the bank in the respective market.Develops and implements cross-selling strategies with Bank partners to maximize revenue growth and relationship depth.Grants credit approvals within delegated authorities as applicable. Achieves satisfactory credit exams. Responsible for credit risk management within the market.Identifies hires, manages, motivates, and retains top talent. Responsible for the professional development of associates within the assigned market.Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
