Job summary

Block, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive for our Mid-Market Team to bring Square, Afterpay, and Cash App solutions to new mid-market merchants. You will own outbound, build multi-product deals, and close at scale in a remote Canada-focused environment. Must thrive in outbound, consultative selling, and multi-threaded negotiations.

In this role you’ll partner with BD, AE, and AM, manage the full sales cycle, and shape deals from first touch to close while hitting ambitious targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with quota.
• Proven success in outbound prospecting and net-new business creation (SaaS or fintech preferred).
• Experience closing complex, multi-threaded deals with longer sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own the full outbound sales cycle from prospecting to close for mid-market merchants.
• Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through cold outreach and targeted campaigns.
• Develop multi-product solutions across Square’s ecosystem tailored to each merchant.
