Job summary

Five9 is hiring a Senior Mid-Market Account Director to manage and grow a defined set of existing accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor, uncover new revenue opportunities, and drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

This fully remote role is eligible for hybrid work for candidates near one of our offices, with travel up to 50%. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in sales, proven hunter/closer experience, and a strong track record in CCaaS/SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of successful sales experience, with targets exceeded.
• Prefer CCaaS or SaaS with large agent counts.
• Experience selling to C-level executives.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Establish credibility and cultivate relationships with existing customers.
• Collaborate to develop a comprehensive sales strategy and identify growth opportunities.
• Proactively upsell Five9 products and AI offerings.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activities.
• Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
• Forecast opportunities and maintain SFDC updates.
• Generate new business through networking and referrals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through implementation and support.
