Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Microsoft Exchange Engineer in Dallas (Hybrid) to engineer, administer, and troubleshoot Exchange on-premises, Online, and hybrid environments. You will drive migrations, optimize security policies, and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to sustain operational continuity.

The role emphasizes escalation leadership, advanced incident resolution, and a path toward a full-time position within a modern messaging environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of enterprise Exchange administration experience.
• Expertise in Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019 and Exchange Online.
• Hybrid configuration (HCW) knowledge and DAG experience.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Strong mail flow, authentication, and DNS/certificate troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with RCA, Message Trace, and Service Health Dashboard.
• Knowledge of Azure AD Connect and modern authentication flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Exchange Server environments.
• Manage Exchange Online configuration and service optimization.
• Support and enhance hybrid Exchange architectures and migrations.
• Lead on-prem to Exchange Online migrations and mailbox moves.
• Collaborate for knowledge transfer and document the environment.
• Manage EOP, Defender for Office 365, and DLP policies.
• Develop advanced PowerShell scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex hybrid mail flow issues.
