Job summary
Systematix is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer to design, administer, and modernize enterprise Microsoft messaging and collaboration services for a global client. You will own Exchange Online, hybrid environments, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, collaborating across infrastructure, security, identity, and network teams.
The role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, migrations, automation via PowerShell, and contributing to governance and compliance within Microsoft
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for 365 administration and automation.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business in large enterprises.
- Experience with Entra ID, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and modern authentication.
- Experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 governance and compliance capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, administer, maintain, and optimize Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.
- Provide advanced engineering support for Exchange architecture, mail flow, security, and availability.
- Troubleshoot complex Exchange and email issues, including migrations and modernization initiatives.
- Design, administer, and support SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
- Support Teams integration with Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive within 365 ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for 365 administration and reporting.
- Lead or support migrations, upgrades, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Develop technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
