Job summary

Prestige Staffing in Irving, TX seeks a Senior Exchange Engineer to lead the engineering, migration, and support of a Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 messaging environment in a hybrid setup. You will drive migrations, optimize mail flow, and ensure platform reliability.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and identity teams, develop automation, and serve as escalation point for complex messaging issues while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 messaging environments.
• Experience with large-scale Exchange migrations, hybrid configurations, and architecture.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, hybrid Exchange, SMTP, mail flow, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, and authentication protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and troubleshoot enterprise Exchange Online and hybrid environments.
• Lead complex migrations including tenant-to-tenant, cross-forest, and on-premises to cloud transitions.
• Manage mail flow, connectors, permissions, and related messaging services.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure messaging security configurations align with standards.
• Develop automation scripts for administration and reporting.
• Act as escalation point for complex messaging issues and outages.
• Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and platform health standards.
• Support cybersecurity investigations impacting messaging systems.
• Travel to various company and client locations as required.
