Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a senior Microsoft 365 Administrator to own and govern the Microsoft 365 tenant in a hybrid Columbus environment. Collaborate with IT Security, Application Services, and MSP to ensure secure, scalable collaboration across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and proactive optimization of licenses, services, and feature deployments, with a focus on HIPAA‑aligned controls for regulated settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 services in a mid‑sized or large enterprise environment.
• Experience managing enterprise‑scale Microsoft 365 tenants.
• Experience with large migrations and MSP collaborations.
• HIPAA familiarity preferred for regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the configuration, administration, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Ensure platform availability, health, and performance through proactive monitoring and coordination with Microsoft Support.
• Manage licensing, capacity planning, and feature enablement based on organizational requirements.
• Lead tenant administration activities and adoption of new Microsoft 365 capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT Security and MSP to maintain security, compliance, and governance.
