Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a Microsoft 365-focused Systems Engineer for our Beloit NCSC. You will administer and improve Microsoft 365 services, enable secure collaboration, and work with IT Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk, and Operations teams.

The role requires expertise across Entra ID, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, and Defender, with a focus on governance and automation. On-call and after-hours availability is expected.

• Mature technical skills across Microsoft 365 and related infrastructure services.
• Operates independently while collaborating with multiple IT teams.
• Broad business process knowledge enabling secure Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Takes initiative to improve systems, governance, and automation.
• 60% projects and 20% tickets; 20% platform architecture and governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 core platform services including Entra ID, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, and Defender.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, alerts, and platform changes; communicate impact and actions.
• Manage and improve mail flow, mailbox configuration, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and policy controls.
• Support Teams collaboration, policy, external access, and lifecycle governance standards.
• Administer Entra ID tenant settings, groups, roles, and access-related configurations.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams on Purview, Defender, and data protection standards.
