Job summary

RSM US LLP in Minneapolis is seeking a qualified Microsoft 365 Migration Consultant to lead SharePoint Online migrations, assess content readiness, and design modern information architectures for clients.

You will build migration plans, configure tools like ShareGate and AvePoint, develop Power Platform solutions, and work with clients to ensure smooth delivery in a hybrid work environment with a strong focus on security, governance, and post-migration support.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–6 years of relevant professional experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, technology consulting, migrations, or related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
• Experience independently delivering SharePoint migration projects.
• Understanding of the migration lifecycle from assessment to post-migration support.
• Experience with permissions, metadata, information architecture, and governance.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and scripting/automation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migrations to SharePoint Online from legacy environments and content repositories.
• Conduct migration assessments and develop migration mappings, schedules, and cutover plans.
• Configure and use migration technologies (ShareGate, AvePoint, Microsoft Migration Manager).
• Execute migration testing, troubleshoot failures, and validate content.
• Design and configure SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and information architecture.
• Design Power Platform solutions and modernize forms/workflows.
• Develop scripts (PowerShell, PnP PowerShell) to improve delivery and automation.
• Lead client discovery sessions, capture requirements, and translate them into practical Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver engagements with a focus on client satisfaction.
