Job summary

RSM is seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 migration consultant for our Minneapolis-based engagements. You will lead migrations from legacy SharePoint environments, design information architectures, and implement governance across SharePoint Online and Power Platform.

You will collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical Microsoft 365 solutions and ensure successful deliveries in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

3–6 years of experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 in technology consulting.
Hands-on experience delivering SharePoint Online migrations.
Knowledge of migration lifecycle steps: assessment, inventory, mapping, remediation, testing, cutover.
Experience with SharePoint permissions, metadata, content types, and IA.
Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute SharePoint Online migrations from legacy environments.
Perform migration assessments and readiness reviews.
Develop migration mappings, waves, schedules, and cutover plans.
Configure tools like ShareGate, AvePoint FLY, or Migration Manager.
Test migrations, troubleshoot failures, and validate content.
Support post-migration stabilization and knowledge transfer.
Design SharePoint sites, libraries, and permissions; manage IA and governance.
Identify opportunities to modernize legacy SharePoint solutions during migrations.
Design and support Power Platform solutions connected to SharePoint.
