Job summary

Winston Taylor in Chicago seeks a Senior Collaboration Engineer to own the performance, reliability, and security of Microsoft 365 services across Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.

You will lead service improvements, coordinate with the Network Operations Center, Information Risk, and Identity teams, and mentor staff while driving end-to-end changes to keep the platform secure, compliant, and high-performing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related security and compliance capabilities.
• Hands-on experience managing email flow security, including spam filtering, transport controls, and mail hygiene practices.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 service changes, resolving complex technical issues, and producing operational documentation.
• Experience using automation solutions (PowerShell, Power Platform, Azure Automation) to improve efficiency.
• Experience designing Power BI dashboards and data storage solutions in Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the health, performance, and reliability of Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Manage and improve mail flow security controls to ensure stable operations.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive remediation solutions.
• Manage and drive Microsoft 365 service changes end-to-end, including planning and execution.
• Collaborate with the Network Operations Center to reduce recurring issues and improve service quality.
• Partner with Information Risk, Identity, and Information Governance teams to ensure secure operations.
• Evaluate and adopt new features in alignment with standards.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex issues and lead resolution efforts.
• Improve documentation standards and operational processes.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
