Job summary

Winston Taylor seeks an experienced Senior Collaboration Engineer to own the Microsoft 365 suite's performance, reliability, and security. You will lead complex operational activities, drive issue resolution, and coordinate with NOC, Risk, and Identity teams to align service quality with standards.

You will mentor staff, improve processes, and influence adoption of new features while maintaining a secure, compliant collaboration platform. Strong automation and governance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Experience with mail flow security, spam filtering, and related mail hygiene practices.
• Experience documenting operational procedures and supporting Microsoft 365 service changes.
• Experience using automation tools (PowerShell, Power Platform, Azure Automation).
• Experience with data retention, governance, Purview, or Copilot governance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own health, performance, and reliability of Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Manage and improve mail flow security controls for stable operations.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement sustainable remediation.
• Plan and execute end-to-end Microsoft 365 service changes.
• Collaborate with NOC to reduce issues and improve service quality.
• Partner with risk, identity, and governance teams for secure operations.
• Drive adoption of new features in line with standards.
• Mentor teammates and provide technical guidance.
• Improve documentation standards and operational processes.
• Support data dashboards and governance initiatives as needed.
