Job summary

Emerson is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Engineer for Microgrids & Data Centers to lead automated control system projects across critical environments.

You will act as a technical resource for architecture, integration, troubleshooting and project execution, collaborating with global engineering and customer teams. The role requires seven+ years in engineering, a BS in a STEM field, and readiness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field.
• Seven+ years of engineering experience in industrial, power, or utility sectors.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, configuration and delivery of advanced automation and control system projects.
• Serve as technical resource for control system architecture, integration strategy and troubleshooting.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget and technical quality with cross-functional teams.
• Apply knowledge of control systems, microgrid technologies and industrial applications to solutions.
• Oversee customer-facing activities including design reviews, testing and handover.
• Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and ensure consistent execution.
• Support internal tools, processes and methodologies to improve quality and efficiency.
