Job summary
Scale Microgrid Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide comprehensive applications and project engineering support for distributed energy and microgrid projects. You will lead technical interfaces with customers, manage turnkey solutions, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs.
The role requires 7+ years in power/renewable project development, strong DER knowledge, and experience with interconnection studies and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in design and construction of power/renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of distributed energy technologies (solar, storage, engines).
- Experience with interconnection processes and utility coordination.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Interface with business, customers and cross-functional teams.
- Deliver turnkey solutions within budget and schedule.
- Integrate microgrid components for cost-effective, practical designs.
- Involve OEMs for design/interface and costing across sites.
- Provide input to solar, battery and generator designs for reliability.
- Direct engineering consultants through full drawing packages (up to 100%).
