Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a seasoned electronics technician to modify, rework, and populate engineering CCAs, assemblies, and subassemblies to meet strict criteria. You will repair returned units to an operational state, including micro-soldering, harness fabrication, and quality verification under a microscope.

Requires AA/AS with 8 years' experience, solder and harness expertise, IPC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree (or 2-year post high school) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with solder, mechanical work, and quality documentation.
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication or rework.
• Verification and inspection experience with applicable standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Modify and rework CCAs, assemblies and subassemblies to approved criteria.
• Perform repairs on returned/damaged units to operable state.
• Micro-soldering under a microscope and harness fabrication from schematics.
• Quality verification and inspection under a microscope.
• Identify, repair and replace wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Operate multimeters or ohmmeters for point-to-point tests.
• Recognize failures, isolate problems and suggest corrective actions.
• Keep management informed of risks impacting schedule or quality.
• Provide feedback to Engineering development team.
