Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking junior technicians with electronics knowledge to support the design and test of electronic products and systems. The role focuses on circuit cards, assembly and repair tasks in an engineering environment, onsite in Tucson, AZ.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or AA/AS with at least 2 years of relevant experience; the position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Solder, mechanical, quality standards, processes, and/or documentation
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication, and/or rework

Responsibilities

• Micro-soldering under a microscope for an extensive period
• Build cables and harnesses from schematics
• Learn about quality verification and inspection under a microscope
• Repair, and replace wire harnesses and cable assemblies, with oversight
• Replace mechanical and electrical components, with oversight
• Operate multi-meters or basic ohmmeters to conduct point-to-point current connection
