Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking junior engineers with electronics knowledge to support design and test of electronic products and systems. Work focuses on circuit cards and related assemblies.

Ideal candidates have basic soldering, mechanical, and quality-control experience; training is provided. This onsite role emphasizes growing skills in a defense environment with strong mentorship and a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Solder, mechanical, quality standards, processes, and/or documentation.
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication, and/or rework.

Responsabilités

• Modify, rework, and populate Engineering CCAs, assemblies, and subassemblies to ensure proper operation according to the established criteria.
• Perform required repairs to returned and damaged units to an operational state.
• Micro-soldering under a microscope for an extended period.
• Build cables and harnesses from schematics.
• Learn about quality verification and inspection under a microscope.
• Repair, and replace wire harnesses and cable assemblies, with oversight.
