Job summary

Vertafore is seeking a Principal Consultant to deliver strategic MGA expertise across the solution lifecycle. You will lead complex engagements, advise on underwriting workflows, carrier relationships, and delegated authority operations, and guide client success through transformation initiatives.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Professional Services leadership to shape solution strategies, mentor teams, and drive scalable delivery practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in insurance technology consulting or professional services.
• Strong consulting, implementation, and solution design capabilities.
• Deep MGA domain knowledge including underwriting workflows and delegated authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead MGA-focused consulting engagements from discovery to implementation and optimization.
• Serve as strategic advisor on operational workflows, underwriting, distribution models, and policy administration.
• Facilitate executive discussions to align objectives with solution capabilities.
• Translate business needs into scalable solution recommendations and implementation plans.
• Identify risks and gaps, providing mitigation strategies and best practices adoption.
• Mentor teams and contribute to delivery standards and reusable assets.
