Job summary

NFP, an Aon Company, is seeking a Senior MGA Business Analyst to join the Atlanta-area team. You will lead requirements, analyze underwriting processes, and collaborate with IT to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

This role emphasizes governance, data quality, and program implementations across commercial insurance programs, with exposure to Vertafore IMS, ImageRight, AIM, and SureFyre. A bachelor's in business or insurance and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or a related field.
• Experience working in commercial insurance, specialty insurance, MGA/MGU, program business, wholesale brokerage, or a similar insurance environment.
• Experience supporting technology implementations, application improvements, system conversions, or integration projects.
• Experience with policy administration, workflow/document management, reporting, and insurance accounting systems; Vertafore suite preferred (IMS, ImageRight, AIM, SureFyre).

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with business and functional collaborators to understand objectives, requirements, and outcomes.
• Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and maintain business and system requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements.
• Develop business requirements documents, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and other materials.
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies and facilitate resolution across groups.
• Document current and future state processes; find opportunities to simplify and improve data quality and controls.
• Partner with Operations leadership to standardize operating models and enable shared services.
• Act as a link between business users and IT for configuration, integration, and support.
• Support solution build discussions and evaluate alignment with business needs.
• Document business rules, configuration decisions, and change requirements; support governance.
