Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, messaging, and testing. You will lead client conversations, write direct-response copy and VSL scripts, develop testing strategies, and diagnose funnel improvements.

You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and be accountable for client performance, relationships, and retention, while coordinating with the broader team on media plans and optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with Meta advertising
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading strategy conversations
• Proven ability to hit targets while supporting client retention
• Strong direct-response copywriting for ads and video scripts
• Experience developing testing strategies across audiences and creative
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and judgment
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, pixels, and conversion events
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify funnel issues
