Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. seeks a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, strategy, messaging, and testing.

You will lead client conversations, develop direct‑response copy and video sales letter scripts, and design testing strategies to diagnose and improve funnel performance. This senior hands-on role reports to the Associate Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with Meta advertising responsibility
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations
• Proven ability to hit performance targets while supporting client retention
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and scripts
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance and strategy
• Prepare and send performance reports ahead of scheduled calls
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and decisions
• Build strong client relationships that support retention and referrals
• Proactively identify account risks and opportunities
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointments
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing
• Monitor performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust accordingly
• Develop testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and creatives
• Write direct-response ad copy and VSL scripts for financial services audiences
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction
• Use AI tools to accelerate research while maintaining quality
