Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist / Paid Media Lead to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, and testing. You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, lead client conversations, and communicate results with accountability.

You’ll write direct-response copy and VSL scripts, develop testing strategies, and optimize funnel performance. This role reports to the Associate Director of Operations in a growth-focused agency environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on paid media experience with Meta advertising
• Experience leading client-facing strategy conversations
• Ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting retention
• Strong copywriting for direct-response ads and video scripts
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts and messaging
• Familiarity with conversion tracking and marketing automation

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and act as the strategic point of contact
• Lead bi-weekly client calls on performance and strategy
• Prepare and share performance reports 24 hours before calls
• Translate data into clear recommendations and decisions
• Build client relationships to support retention and referrals
• Identify risks and opportunities across accounts
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns for lead generation and appointments
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, and creative testing
• Monitor performance against cost-per-appointment and acquisition metrics
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust as needed
• Develop testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services
• Develop hooks and messaging variations for testing
• Collaborate with video editors and provide direction
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality
