Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta advertising, strategy, messaging, and testing. You will manage end-to-end campaigns, craft direct-response copy, and maintain client relationships to drive retention and growth.

The role involves leading client calls, delivering performance reports, and coordinating with editors and automation tools. A hands-on leader comfortable evolving strategy beyond Ads Manager, with a bias toward

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to drive campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong copywriting skills for ad copy and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other key metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine changes to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and strategy.
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, pixels, and conversion events.
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows.
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems.
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify funnel problems.
