Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, copy, and testing. You will lead strategic conversations, optimize lead-generation funnels, and drive retention with data-driven decisions.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, including reporting, strategy, and creative direction, while collaborating with editors and leveraging AI to accelerate results. This is a remote role with strong performance expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to drive campaigns toward defined performance targets and support retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust for improvements.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video script/VSLs for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
