Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, and creative testing.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, lead client conversations, and deliver results that drive qualified appointments and revenue growth. You will craft direct-response copy and VSL scripts, develop testing strategies, optimize Meta campaigns, and ensure clean tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience leading client-facing strategy conversations and multiple accounts.
• Proven ability to hit performance targets while supporting retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ad copy and scripts.
• Experience testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls on performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send performance reports at least 24 hours before calls.
• Translate data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointments.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and testing.
• Monitor performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and VSL scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development with quality.
