Milwaukee Tool in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support MES and manufacturing platform solutions across North American sites.

This hands-on role focuses on MES while guiding best-practice design standards for internal teams and citizen developers. You will partner with Quality and Manufacturing stakeholders, ensure high availability and scalability, and drive automation to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an Information Technology field relevant to manufacturing operations, with significant focus on platform development and support.
• Demonstrated proficiency building integrations between manufacturing platforms and related systems, including API development and data connectivity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize and communicate effectively across global audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support MES and manufacturing platform applications across North American manufacturing facilities.
• Interface with Quality and Manufacturing stakeholders and IT teams to drive execution and standardization.
• Develop architectural strategies and drive best-in-class platform standards across the portfolio.
• Provide guidance to end users and citizen developers and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
