Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a skilled engineer to support electromechanical builds and automated test systems in Brookfield, WI. You will fabricate, assemble, and troubleshoot power tools, while ensuring 6S workspace standards and high quality outcomes.

Collaborate with Engineering and Test Automation groups to optimize designs, schedules, and safety compliance. A technical degree or related experience is required, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• At least a technical degree or 2–5 years in related field.
• Experience with power tools, assembly systems, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret and review blueprints, schematics, and control documentation with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex mechanical and electromechanical builds, fabrication, panel building, and mechatronics assemblies for custom test systems.
• Maintain a clean working environment following 6S practices.
• Collaborate with engineering.
• Lead troubleshooting and maintenance for automated test equipment and integrated control systems.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and documentation with minimal supervision.
• Interact with Test Automation Group and manage schedules while upholding safety and quality expectations.
• Learn through internal and external training opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design and testing decisions.
