Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is seeking a MES Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems across our facilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze production processes, configure MES software, and drive improvements in manufacturing operations.

The role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MES software and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates from any academic background will be considered.
• Minimum 1 year or more of experience in Manufacturing Systems.
• Experience supporting systems in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience working with manufacturing-related applications, databases, or system integrations.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and production support activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement, validate, and stabilize manufacturing IT systems across multiple plants.
• Gather business and operational requirements and translate them into system solutions for MES.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Smart Factory applications including Work Cycle Time management, Mobile Systems, M-Scope, and BI boards.
• Coordinate MES integrations with ERP, PLCs, equipment automation systems, and reporting platforms.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities.
• Participate in manufacturing system enhancement and continuous improvement projects.
• Analyze issues and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance.
• Document configurations and interfaces; update procedures and user guides.
• Lead knowledge management and provide end-user training for MES.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and change management across plants.
