Job summary

Altria Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Principal Analyst to upgrade MES/MOM systems and plan manufacturing processes. You will lead configuration and software development, align requirements with platform capabilities, and drive standardization across Altria plants.

The role requires strong software development experience, familiarity with manufacturing metrics, API development, and the ability to collaborate with external teams. Onsite plant work is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Proven experience in software development and/or implementation.
• Proven experience implementing or leading MES, MOM, batch control and tracking.
• Experience in all project phases: requirements, design, development, implementation.
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language and SQL.
• Familiarity with manufacturing metrics and reporting systems.
• Experience with API development.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Willingness to work onsite in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration and software development for MES/MOM and interfaces across all Altria plants.
• Capture process requirements and design solutions for standardization of technology and processes.
• Lead external development teams to deliver agile manufacturing enhancements.
• Enable onboarding of new product manufacturing into standard applications/platforms.
• Develop reporting and analytics for manufacturing in coordination with analytics resources.
