Job summary

Altria Client Services LLC in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Technology (Finance) to lead a high-performing team delivering technology solutions for manufacturing operations. You will drive strategic initiatives, partner with stakeholders, and manage project execution to ensure reliable, scalable outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in IT leadership, strong people leadership, and experience with manufacturing/Supply Chain tech (SAP, MES, Blue Yonder).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years experience in technology delivery or IT leadership.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading technology delivery with operational functions in a sophisticated enterprise environment.
• Solid IT service management knowledge (incident, problem, change, release, and operational support).
• Experience with manufacturing and supply chain tech like SAP, MES, Blue Yonder or similar.
• PMP, ITIL, Agile, Scrum certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for technology solution deployment, application maintenance, incident management, and service improvement in manufacturing environments.
• Partner with manufacturing leaders, business partners, product owners, and technology teams to align priorities and deliver technology capabilities.
• Oversee project delivery, enhancements, and operational initiatives with scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resources.
• Drive operational excellence by improving service reliability, support responsiveness, and issue resolution processes.
• Serve as partner for critical incidents, production-impacting issues, delivery challenges, and vendor concerns.
• Establish governance, documentation, release management, and quality standards across tech implementation and support.
• Lead team capacity and resource allocation across projects, support, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and enterprise application teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure service commitments and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational risk.
