Altria Group, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst to power the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling team. The role emphasizes turning data into actionable insights for staffing decisions in a unionized manufacturing setting.

You’ll provide in-depth analysis, reporting, and decision support, coordinating staffing for IAM crafts and maintaining headcount by budget and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred or 10+ years in maintenance/staffing.
• Experience working under labor contracts.
• Strong analytical skills to craft staffing solutions.
• Proficiency in Excel and WorkBrain; data handling.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staff IAM craft positions across all shifts, including holidays and shutdowns.
• Coordinate pulls, openings and transfers within IAM population with management input.
• Serve as liaison between IAM union and management to resolve staffing issues.
• Manage IAM vacation requests and updates to reflect changes.
• Oversee automated IAM overtime and vacation solicitation systems.
• Maintain reconciled headcount to budget with HR and Finance.
• Present insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
