Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead MES/Digital Manufacturing Business Analyst to partner with our electrical sector manufacturing site. The role involves hands-on Ignition MES work, standardizing processes, and driving MES capabilities across sites.

You will bridge operations and IT/OT teams, translate shopfloor needs into scalable MES solutions, and ensure alignment with product strategy and cybersecurity requirements. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing, industrial IT, or MES environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and IT/OT integration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing, operations, quality, and IT stakeholders to understand current-state processes and future-state MES needs; elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for Ignition-based MES solutions.
• Translate operational use cases into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria; ensure alignment with objectives.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and reuse across plants while balancing site-specific needs.
• Support the configuration and deployment of Ignition MES modules (Production Dispatch & Execution, Production Tracking, OEE, Data Collection, etc.).
• Collaborate with technical teams on Ignition UI, data modeling, and integration with ERP/PLCs; validate alignment with standards.
