Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Plant Level MES Analyst to act as the on-ground IT resource for MES, APS, and WMS/TMS at the assigned manufacturing plant(s). The role combines hands-on Ignition development with solution architecture, including Oracle EBS integration and cross-functional coordination with Operations, ME/AME, and IT teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in SCADA/Ignition, plant-level gateway design, and end-to-end IT deployment of WMS/TMS with ERP integration.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing IT, MES, WMS, or TMS within manufacturing/warehouse/logistics.
• Hands-on Ignition Development with Python/Jython and HMI screen development.
• Ignition Solution Architecture and plant-level gateway design experience.
• IT-side WMS/TMS deployment experience with Oracle WMS/TMS integration.
• Strong knowledge of APS and integration with Oracle EBS and shop-floor layers.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and warehouse workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute Ignition MES deployment and configuration at assigned plant(s) per global methodology.
• Coordinate APS, WMS, and TMS go-lives and maintenance at plant level.
• Develop and maintain plant-level SCADA/Ignition solutions (HMI, tagging, alarms, dashboards).
• Configure OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT for PLC/sensor integration on the shop floor.
• Lead IT-side WMS deployment including system config, workflows, and integration.
• Coordinate shop-floor deployment with Ops, and manage vendors/contractors.
• Provide deployment status updates to regional MES Specialist and IT Ops BRM.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Oracle EBS integration for data exchange.
