Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead IT Ignition Full Stack Engineer to drive design, development, and lifecycle support for enterprise MES/SCADA solutions built on the Ignition platform. You will lead technical delivery, architecture, and integration across plant systems, ERP, quality, and maintenance.

This role emphasizes strong Ignition expertise, Python scripting, SQL, and web technologies, with a hybrid schedule and flexible US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12+ years in IT.
• 6+ years Ignition manufacturing solution experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of a US Eaton facility.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design, delivery, and lifecycle support for enterprise MES/SCADA on Ignition.
• Oversee integration with ERP, quality, maintenance and shop floor systems.
• Develop applications using Ignition Perspective/Vision and gateway services; write Python/Jython scripts.
• Ensure scalable architecture, secure integrations, and high-quality delivery.
