Belk Senior Manager, Merchandise Strategy- Center Core will play a critical role in driving business growth, profitability, and execution. Reporting to the Director of Merchandise Strategy- Center Core, this position will serve as a key liaison between Field Leadership, Merchandise/Planning, and vendor partners to translate business strategy into measurable results.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in business or related area
• Minimum 5-year retail experience
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and profitability through business analysis, merchandise strategy, and field execution.
• Lead cross-functional projects, events, and customer activations from strategy through execution.
• Own the Special-Order Process, partnering with Field and Merchant teams to improve product access and capture sales opportunities.
• Conduct regular store visits to gather field insights, assess execution, and identify opportunities of growth.
• Support localized strategies based on store performance, customer needs, inventory, assortment, and market opportunities.
• Partner with vendor field teams on product knowledge, selling, and business training to build Selling Specialist capability.
• Lead vendor business meetings and establish clear next steps and follow-up.
• Travel to stores based on business needs.
