Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales through compelling product presentations and precise signage. You will lead the team in floor sets, price changes, and planograms while aligning with brand standards and visual directives.

In this hourly role with monthly bonus eligibility, you will coordinate with omni, operations, and selling teams, mentor associates, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across the store.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Ability to use data and guidance to drive decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and ensure a positive customer experience with attractive product presentations.
• Lead team in product placement, floor sets, signage, and pricing updates.
• Collaborate with omni, operations, and selling teams to meet store objectives.
• Plan and schedule merchandising and pricing tasks in weekly leadership meetings.
• Onboard and coach associates to raise team knowledge and performance.
• Support stock replenishment and store recovery during peak periods.
• Execute omni and operations processes with safety and security compliance.
• Foster a positive store culture and recognize associate achievements.
• Adapt to forecasts and changing business needs by adjusting tactics.
